How to request deletion

Option 1: delete it in the app (recommended)
Sign in, open Profile and tap "Delete account" (in red, next to "Log out"). Type the confirmation word in the box and run it: your account and its data are deleted there and then (for comments, see Retention below).

Option 2: ask us by email (if you cannot use the app)
Write to the address below with the provider you sign in with (Google / Discord / Apple) and your display name (or user ID). We delete the account once we have confirmed it is yours.

What is deleted

• Account information (the identifier from your sign-in provider, display name, bio, avatar image)
• Sign-in session information
• Push notification tokens
• Scores and play records
• Records of follows, likes, saves and similar actions
• Games and comments you posted (comments disappear from other users right away)
• Messages you sent to users whose #1 record you beat, and the #1 notices you received

Deleting individual data without deleting your account

You can delete the following yourself in the app while keeping your account.

• Games you posted (delete them from My games)
• Follows (unfollow)
• Likes (unlike)
• Saves (unsave)

Retention

Once we receive a deletion request we delete the data above promptly. Only where it is needed to prevent abuse, or where the law requires us to keep it, may we retain some information such as reports for as long as necessary.

Comments (their text and the display name at the time of deletion) are kept for one year after deletion, visible only to the operator, to handle reports and to check for fraudulent or inappropriate use, and are then erased (IP addresses are erased 90 days after the comment was written). To have them erased before the year is up, contact us at the address above.
