This is an English translation of the Japanese Terms of Service, provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Japanese version prevails.
These Terms set out the conditions for using PUNIPO (punipo.com and the Android application; the "Service"). Anyone who uses the Service (a "user", "you") does so having agreed to these Terms.
The Service is provided by an individual operator ("we", "us").
The Service is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.
You can post a game that consists of a single HTML file. Posted games, titles, descriptions, comments and profiles (display name, bio, avatar) are shown to other users.
You warrant that you hold the rights you need for everything you post. Copyright in what you post stays with you. You do, however, grant us permission, free of charge, to distribute and display your post within the Service, and to use it as a thumbnail image and a short introduction video to present the Service.
You must not post any of the following, whether in the game itself, the title, the description, a comment or your profile. If you are unsure whether something applies, do not post it.
Sexual content
Depictions of sexual acts or anything suggesting them, and expressions intended to solicit sexually. Sexual depictions of minors are not allowed in any form.
Violence and gore
Content that glorifies violence against real people, excessively graphic depictions, and content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
Hate, discrimination and harassment
Content that attacks a person or a group on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation and the like. Harassment, bullying and impersonation of another user.
Infringement of rights
Use of images, audio, fonts, code, characters or trademarks owned by someone else without permission. Publishing another user's work as your own.
Personal information
Publishing information that identifies a person - name, address, phone number, email address, social accounts and the like - without their consent.
Dangerous and illegal activity
Content aimed at trading illegal drugs or weapons, gambling, fraud, distributing malware, or attacking other services.
Behaviour that deceives players
Behaviour that goes against what the player intends: navigating them to another page on its own, collecting credentials in input fields, or imitating an advert or a payment screen.
Spam and bulk meaningless posts
Posts made only to advertise, repeated posts with no content, and inflating play counts or scores by illegitimate means.
A posted game is published after an automated review and a check by us. Even after publication, we may unpublish or delete a post that we judge to be in breach of these Terms, without prior notice.
If you breach these Terms repeatedly, or if we judge the conduct to be egregious, we will suspend the account. A suspended account can no longer post or comment, and cannot change its profile. Its earlier posts stop being shown as well.
If you find a post that breaches these Terms, you can tell us through "Report" on the game, the comment and the user. We check what is reported and take the action that is needed.
If you would rather not see a particular user's posts and comments, you can use "Block" on their page. A blocked user's games do not appear in your feed and their comments are not shown. The person is not notified that you blocked them.
You can play games without signing in. Posting a game and writing a comment do require signing in to an account.
You can delete your account at any time. How to do that, and what is deleted, are described in the Privacy Policy and on the account deletion page.
What information we obtain and how we handle it are governed by the Privacy Policy.
We make no warranty about the content or the behaviour of posted games. Posted games are served in an isolated environment, but whether to play one is your own decision.
We may change the Service, or stop providing it, without prior notice. We are not liable for damage caused to you by either.
We may change these Terms when needed. When we do, we update the last-updated date on this page. If you keep using the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms.
